How the estimates work
  • Every ZIP maps to one of 22 SoCal zones. Drive times come from zone-to-zone distance, not turn-by-turn.
  • A congestion curve scales those times by hour of day, softened on weekends.
  • Legs crossing between San Diego and OC/LA get an extra penalty at peak, worse in the peak direction.
  • Stops are ordered nearest-first, with a heavy penalty for missing a receiving window.
  • Not modeled: accidents, construction, truck-restricted routes, bridge clearances, border wait.
Settings backup
Settings live in this browser only. Move them to another device with these.
Estimates only. No live traffic, no truck-route restrictions, no closures.
Check the map before rolling and leave margin on anything with a hard appointment.
